A TOAST TO BEING A WOMAN

On the occasion of International Women's Day, 60 women with interesting backgrounds came forward to be change-makers in life by promoting women entrepreneurship and encouraging the entrepreneurial spirit of women.

Stellant Communication has been organizing the party for three consequent years now. The idea is to network and guide each other/support/contribute time to help other ladies and give them a leg up in every way possible. Also, encourage using each other’s products and services. A Marketing person can give promotion tips to an entrepreneur, an Image Consultant can help you improve your personal image, a Social Media expert can guide you on how to best use the medium, a HR lady can share tips on hiring the right person and a Finance lady can tell you all about managing and growing your money.

Professionals, entrepreneurs, self-employed ladies including, a CFO, Forensic accountant at KPMG, Director of a leading Fashion Institute, Director at a CA firm, a film maker, author, poet, DJ, blogger, , bakers, HR, events, fitness, doctor, neurosurgeon, image consultant, trainer, coach, jewellery designer, tarot card reader, singer, a ladies cab service, car rally winner, youngest mentalist, mountaineer and many more, were present at Cowboys Café in Navi Mumbai to celebrate being a women.

Ms. Suhasini Ahluwalia Mehta, Director, Stellant Communications said, “Networking is very important for everyone and this is a good occasion to bring together ladies from diverse backgrounds who can help each other.” The event is an excellent platform for women to know each other in an informal environment, and then take it forward in ways where a real difference can be made. Given the multitude of responsibilities that a woman shoulders, many a times they set aside their personal ambitions to shoulder family responsibilities, and do not revisit it until much later. Perhaps this forum can help them find their mojo back, and encourage them to take the first step towards the new world.

Priyanka Mohite from Satara, who is the second girl from Maharashtra to scale Mount Everest along with Princess Kimaya ,who is youngest illusionist & mentalist in the world graced the occasion. There were ice-breaker activities for women entrepreneurs to exchange experiences, share opportunities and develop business contacts. Other activities such as nail art and supernatural entertainment by Princess Kimaya and Satish Deshmukh, who is an international entertainer, trainer and renowned corporate master illusionist made an affair to remember.
