GoChoppers: The pioneer in end-to-end heli-tourism

GoChoppers is the first company to integrate aviation with travel in India under one umbrella. Promoted & operated by a group of aviation industry experts who have in-depth know-how of the industry, GoChoppers has forayed into a market segment that has yet to be explored by many others in the country. Taking this absence of air-commute as an opportunity, Whirl Works Aerial Private Limited came into existence in October 2012, to facilitate swift and easy air-transfers. Currently, the company is also in talks to raise $10-15 million within a year for its next phase of growth.

The wing ‘GoChoppers’ of Whirl Works Aerial Private Limited serves the need of chartering helicopters and fixed-winged aircraft. Backed by a large fleet of aircraft, the brand has partnerships with various operators across the nation to offer services on a short notice. GoChoppers aims at integrating aviation with travel and serve the masses.

It operates helicopters and offers heli-tourism services to domestic and non-resident Indian pilgrims visiting popular pilgrimage sites. It also provides luxury business jet services to corporate clients and diplomats.

So far at least 20,000 tourists have availed its services for popular pilgrimage sites like Vaishno Devi and Amarnath in Jammu and Kashmir, and the ‘Char Dham’ pilgrimage circuit in Uttarakhand that includes Kedarnath, Badrinath, Gangotri and Yamunotri shrines.

Besides, the company has conducted a string of ultra-luxury exotic trips for overseas clients for popular destinations such as the Golden Triangle (Delhi-Agra-Jaipur).

Talking about the brand, Capt. Puneet Bakshi, M.D. GoChoppers Services Pvt. Ltd. Said, “With the building need of air travel and chartering services, we have devised a convenient way of easy chartering of helicopters and fixed-winged aircraft. Assessing the future of aviation in India, Rivergate Capital is enabling us to further expand our fleet size..”

GoChoppers has accreditation from the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India as a certified Heli-Tourism provider and an NSOP for political flying and air charter services. The brand deals with tourism and corporate travels and has tied up with around 25 business jets and 40 helicopter operators from across the country for its chartering business.
